New video workflow + Social Media for your MOOCs + SPOCs + Sharing Session

This workshop will cover two main areas for enhancing your MOOCs and SPOCs – the new video workflow and how to use social media to promote your course.

A New Video Workflow has been announced by edX as they move away from YouTube for their video hosting. This is an important move that edX are currently discussing with the MOOC community. This workshop will consider the current situation while looking at future implications of this policy on our MOOC and SPOC teams.

The creative use of Social Media can help promote your MOOC/SPOC, and build a learning community. In this session, the existing MOOC/SPOC teams will share their planning and implementation tips on Social Media and we will introduce relevant strategies and examples.
